Simply The Best by Noah Reid

Dear Poptastic Readers,

There is an acoustic song out now by Noah Reid that we can't seem to get enough of. It is a beautiful cover of the 1989 classic made famous by Tina Turner. However, upon researching it, Bonnie Tyler first recorded the song in 1988. You're going to love Noah's version. We do!

So who is Noah Reid? Well, he is a Canadian artist who plays the role of Patrick on the hilarious TV show Schitt's Creek. The show is in its 4th season. We just found out about the show last month and we've binge-watched the first 3 seasons on Netflix. In Season 4, Noah Reid really shines as he gives us this song. You can watch a clip here ...

Wasn't that lovely? Yes, it was. When we watched the episode, everyone in the room was in tears. We mostly laugh at Schitt's Creek, but many times it captures our heart and this song was a magical moment. If you have never seen Schitt's Creek. Go watch it now! Here is the trailer for the first season ...

We did a little bit more exploring of Noah Reid and he released an album in 2016 called Songs From A Broken Chair. It's a collection of heartfelt acoustic songs. Normally our genre includes pop beats, but Noah has captivated us. Check out his video for the song "Runaway" ...

We hope Noah continues his role as Patrick on Schitt's Creek. We are rooting for him and David (aka Dan Levy). As for "Simply The Best" ... It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today. We've added it (and "Runaway") to our 2018 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify. Enjoy!~

Cheers then,
—Davearama
