Christmas Lights by Dolly Style

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Sweden's sugary sweet Dolly Style have a new holiday song called "Christmas Lights" and we are sure this comes no surprise who are familiar with the group, but there is a new member, too! Please welcome Molly 4.

If you are new to Dolly Style, they are a girl group who wear pastel wigs and take on characters. Blue is Holly. Purple is Polly. Pink is Molly. The pastel wigs also help conceal the numerous line up changes over the years. So far, there have been 8 versions of Dolly Style with 4 Pollys, 4 Mollys, and 2 Hollys. At the end of this post, see the complete discography and line ups.

"Christmas Lights" is also the group's third Christmas song. Last year, they (Holly 2, Polly 4, Molly 3) gave us "Open Your Arms (It's X-mas)" and in 2016, they (Holly 1Polly 3Molly 2) had a Swedish song called "Tänd Ett Ljus." The new song "Christmas Lights" is a peppy little song that has a country pop sound to it. Have a listen ...

"Christmas Lights" was written by Jimmy Jansson, Karl-Frederik Hilarius Reichhardt, and Marcus Winther-John. It was produced by Karl-Frederik Hilarius Reichhardt and Jimmy Jansson. Because this is a Christmas song, we've added it to our Christmas Spotify playlist: A Very Poptastic Christmas!

Cheers then,

—Davearama
