Irish girl group B*Witched have a new single out called "Birthday." If you don't know B*Witched, or they sound vaguely familiar, their debut single "C'est La Vie" in 1998 was a UK #1 and a US #9. For the next two years, they had 7 more Top 30 hits in the UK. Now they are back!
B*Witched is made up of twin-sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou, and Sinéad O'Carroll. Back in their heyday, most of the songs had lead vocals by Edele. On the new song "Birthday" Lindsay and Edele share the lead vocals with little bits from Keavy, but no solo bits from Sinéad. The song is a mid-tempo bop that has a chorus that gets stuck in your head. The vocals sound a bit autotune to our ears, but not enough to turn us off. The music video takes place in a hanger.
