#3 of 2016

Dear Poptastic Readers,

#3 in our Top 100 Songs of 2016 is “Rollercoaster” by Dolly Style. Click on the name of the song to see what we first wrote about it.

Dolly Style have definitely been our guilty pleasure this year. In the spring, Dolly Style came in at #87 in our Top 100 Girl Groups list. If we ever do the list again, we are sure they will go higher. Dolly Style had two other songs in our Top 20: "Young & Restless" at #12 and "Unicorns & Ice Cream" at #17. There is something just so fun and campy about them. And the music is pretty catchy, too. They make us smile.

“Rollercoaster” was their entry for Sweden’s Melodifestivalen, which is a song competition in Sweden that selects the song that will represent their country in the Eurovision Song Contest. Sadly, Dolly Style didn’t win, but this song and their performance is super fabulous. Have a look …

We just couldn't get the song out of our head all year long! “Rollercoaster” is their only song not available on iTunes worldwide. However, you can get the song on mp3v.com with a prepaid account. Support the artist by downloading your copy today. Listen to the 2016 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify.
