Sorry for the long break between posts. Life got busy. When there is overwhelmingly troublesome news, we take a break. It is important to let music lift us up in unsettling times. So now the good news: Rick Astley is back with a new poptastic track called "Beautiful Life" — and no it isn't a cover of the Ace Of Base classic. This is the title track from his new album.
Rick rose to fame in 1987 with the mega hits "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Together Forever." Both were #1 in the US, but the former was #1 around the world. His success continued throughout the early 90s. Then about 10 years ago, the prank of "Rickrolling" gave his career a surprising boost.
As for the new song, we quite like it. It is fun and uplifting. A toe tapper for sure. Rick sounds great and looks fab! Check out the cute video ...
