Velodrome by Henrikes

 Dear Poptastic Readers,

Swedish artist Henrikes has a new song out called "Velodrome." Are you not familiar with her? She had 2 song out last year, which we featured: "Stockholm" and a cover of The Beatles' song "Blackbird." Click on them to see what we said about them.

In case you didn't know, a velodrome is an arena for track cycling. So what's the new song like? It's a lovely mid-tempo somber pop song. Is it about an actual Velodrome or is it an analogy for a relationship? Perhaps you should decide. Have a listen here and you can follow along with the lyrics below the video ...

Wasn't that lovely? Yes, it was. "Velodrome" was written by Henrikes and Märta Grauers, who also produced the track. Recognize Märta's name? She was in the short-lived, but fabulous pop group Le Kid. Buy your copy today. In the meantime, we've added it to our 2020 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify. Enjoy!~

Cheers then,
—Davearama
