Dear Poptastic Readers,
New independent artist alert: We have just found out about RetroPopBoy, who is an artist from England, but is originally from Spain. He has a new single out called "Sorrow Town" and it is a remake of a 1998 song by the band Peach.
RetroPopBoy's version of "Sorrow Town" transforms the trancepop original to a uplifting throwback to the Stock Aitken Waterman era of pop. The lyrics are a bit reminicent of "Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat. The music video was filmed in RetroPopBoy's hometown in Spain and it shows how he left Spain as a young man to start a new life in England.
