And our bonus track …
21. “Diamond” by Francine Belle

This year, we had 3 artists who appeared twice in our Top 21:

Clara Mae with “Lost” and “Unmiss You” — a special call out to Clara as she has had 2 songs in our Top 21 in both 2018 and 2017!

Newcomers this year were Isle Of You, REYNA, Rozalla, Lina Hedlund, Aly & AJ, Cirillo, and Shakespears Sister. Although Lina has been in our countdown before as part of Alcazar. Marcella from Shakespears Sister was on our countdown last year with Parralox.

Bananarama, Jody Watley, Parralox, and Francine Belle were all in our Top 21 this year. They’ve all been #1 on our countdown before. Jody Watley has been at #1 twice before. And now Bananarama have also been at #1 twice. Parralox and Francine were almost #1 together when they came in at #2 in 2014.

2012: “Now Or Never” by Bananarama was #1
2013: “Nightlife” by Jody Watley was #1
2014: “Crying On The Dancefloor” by Parralox featuring Francine was #2
2016: “The Mood” by Jody Watley featuring SRL was #1
2017: “Electric Nights” by Parralox was #1
2018: “Beautiful Heights” by Francine Belle was #1
2019: “Stuff Like That” by Bananrama was #1

The last time the Sugababes were on our countdown, they also came in at the #7 position in 2011. However, it was a completely different lineup of the group. The original lineup of the group was on our countdown in 2013, but under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhan (aka MKS). The Sugababes/MKS have been in our Top 21 four times since we started.

2010: “Wear My Kiss” was #8
2011: “Freedom” was #7
2013: “Flatline” was #11
2019: “Flowers” was #7

17 songs in the Top 21 were sung by woman! Girl Power! Speaking of Girl Power, one entry was even by a Spice Girl — Sporty Spice Melanie C! How many Spice Girls have been in our Top 21 before? The Melanies and Geri! However, Emma and Victoria have been in Davearama's countdowns before Poptastic Confessions came along.

2011: “Think About It” by Melanie C was #16
2013: “For Once In My Life” by Mel B was #5
2013: "Half Of Me" by Geri Halliwell was #21
2019: “High Heels” by Melanie C featuring Sink The Pink was #13

This year, we had artists from 4 countries …

12 artists from England
4 artists from Sweden
4 artists from the USA
3 artists from Australia
