We just heard this fun song today and we immediately loved it. The song is "Brand New Me" by Saint Etienne x Confidence Man. We've heard of the English group Saint Etienne before, but we aren't familiar with their songs. We had never heard of the Australian group Confidence Man before. We have some exploring to do.

"Brand New Me" is a happy, feel-good song with lots of horny horns. The vocals are shared by both female singers from each group. There are even some fun talking bits. The lyrics are about self empowerment. The music video is retro-inspired cartoon where both groups are competing on stage and driving cars. So fun! Belinda Carlisle has released her covers album Once Upon A Time In California, and the latest single is called "Never My Love." The remake was originally recorded by The Association in 1967 (US #2). The Fifth Dimension released it in 1971 (US #12), and Blue Swede covered it in 1974 (US #7). For Belinda, this follows her previous 3 singles this year: "The Air That I Breath", "Get Together", and "One."
