Why: "Freedom Of The Night" was a triumphant return to disco pop for Sophie. She sounds absolutely wonderful here. This glorious gem is about the joyous feeling of music. “I can feel energy. I believe it's healing me. All I need is sweet release in the freedom of the night.” Empowering! We really love it!
Watch: The music video is a sequel to the video of "Murder On The Dancefloor", where Sophie is playing the same character, only this time her daughter is in the dance competition and isn't doing well, so Sophie gets up to her old tricks. The same dance judge also makes a return to the new video, and it was filmed in the same place. We've added it to our 2024 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on YouTube.
