Dear Poptastic Readers,
If you are just joining us, we have been counting down our Top 101 Songs of 2024 with a new song every day. See the past entries below. Tomorrow, we feature the next song in the countdown.
#10 in Poptastic Confessions Top 101 Songs of 2024 is: “Saw It All Coming” by Infernal. Click on the name of the song to see what we said about it earlier this year.
Written and produced by: Paw Lagermann and Lina Rafn (Infernal)
Why: According to Spotify, this was one of our most played songs of the year. We understand why as there is something so captivating about the trip-hop beats over the sweet vocal melody. The lyrics are self-reflective and relatable. We just love it! Funnily enough, they released a new album yesterday called INF: ALBUM. We will check it out after the holidays.
Watch: Sadly, there is no music video, lyric video, or visualizer, so we have added the official audio to our 2024 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on YouTube.
Chart history: Infernal has been on our year-end countdowns before, and this is their second time in our Top 10.
"Love Is All ..." was #16 in 2012
And this year ...
"Touch Heaven" was #44
