Dear Poptastic Readers,
If you are just joining us, we have been counting down our Top 101 Songs of 2024 with a new song every day. See the past entries below. Tomorrow, we feature the next song in the countdown.
#20 in Poptastic Confessions Top 101 Songs of 2024 is: “Libra Girl” by Margaret Berger. Click on the name of the song to see what we said about it earlier this year.
Written by: Margaret Berger and Hilde Skaar
Produced by: Anders Kjaer
Why: While "Libra Girl" starts off a bit somber, it quickly turns into a full-on tears-on-the-dancefloor banger when the euphoric chorus hits. The lyrics are about a relationship that isn't working, but the music makes you feel hopeful. Margaret took us on an emotional journey and made us all feel like a "Libra Girl." We love it.
Watch: Sadly, there is no music video or visualizer. We've added the official audio to our 2024 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on YouTube.
Chart history: This is Margaret's first year featured in Poptastic Confessions. She had 2 other songs on our countdown ...
"Karma Is A" was #33
"I Can't Make You Love Me" was #75
Buy: Sadly, “Libra Girl” isn't available for purchase in certain regions. We hope this changes, as we would like to buy it. Until then, it is on streaming.
