Swedish duo Rebecca & Fiona have teamed up again with Swedish legends Lili & Susie for a new version of "Oh Mama." The song was originally a massive European hit for Lili & Susie in 1987. You might remember that last year in May we featured "Savannah" by the 2 duos.
Rebecca & Fiona's updated version is aimed right at the dance floor. We aren't completely sure if this just a remix, but we think there are new vocals from Lili & Susie. No matter. In September of 2021, Rebecca & Fiona and Lili & Susie performed a mashup of Ace Of Base's "All That She Wants" with "Oh Mama" for Swedish TV. We have loved this version and how how we wish there was a studio version of this. See the performance here ...
The original version of "Oh Mama" was written by Anders Hansson, Ola Håkansson, and Tim Norell. This new version also adds Lili Päivärinta, Susie Päivärinta, Rebecca Scheja, and Fiona Fitzpatrick to the writing credits. It was produced by Rebecca & Fiona.
