Iconic by A*Teens

Dear Poptastic Readers,

In 1999, the Swedish group A*Teens released their debut album The ABBA Generation. Yes, they were a group of Swedish teenagers (2 females, 2 males) who sang cover versions of ABBA songs. For their second album in 2001, they dropped the ABBA songs. A third album followed in 2002. In 2004, they released their greatest hits album, which included 13 singles, and then they disbanded. Now, they have reunited for Sweden's Melodifestivalen with a new song called "Iconic." Their first new music in 22 years!

"Iconic" is a brilliant piece of pop music and the vocals from A*Teens sound great. We are happy that the vocals are shared amoung all 4 members. They performed at Melodifestivalen on Saturday and they got through to the final. Congratulations! We've added their performance to our 2026 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Iconic" was written by Dino Medanhodzic, Jimmy Jansson, Lina Hansson, Moa Carlbecker, and Tomas G-Son. It was produced by Dino Medanhodzic, Tomas G-Son, and Jimmy Jansson. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! We've added it to our 2026 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify.

Upside down,
