About 2 months ago, we heard there was a new Whitney Houston song and we weren't quite sure how we felt about it. Well, the music video was released this week and we finally checked it out. We were quite delighted. The song is called "Higher Love" and we think you'll know it.
"Higher Love" is a remake of the 1986 Steve Winwood classic. In 1990, Whitney recorded her version of this song as a bonus track for her Japanese edition of her album Be My Baby Tonight. It was never released anywhere else, nor was it on any streaming services. Apparently the Houston family approached Norwegian producer Kygo and asked him to remix the track. The result is a glorious feel-good pop anthem. Check it out in the super-cute music video ...
Pretty amazing, right? "Higher Love" is available on digital outlets everywhere. It has already hit #1 on the US Dance Chart, #2 in the UK, #9 in Sweden, and #10 in Switzerland. Buy your copy today. We've added it to our 2019 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify. Woo!
