We’re very excited to hear that the extremely talented Marcella Detroit (known to most as one half of the prolific duo Shakespears Sister), is celebrating an incredible 50 years in the music business!
Marcella has already showcased some of this new material on her Facebook live sessions, which have been keeping her loyal fanbase entertained throughout the pandemic. One of these songs is the quirky “Hornets Nest”, which was written about the dangers of social media – you can check out the fantastic music video for the song here.
To celebrate her golden anniversary in the music business, Marcella has just launched a brand new website, which will focus mainly on her new music. A previously unreleased album, Made In Detroit, is already available to purchase, plus several free downloads and new merchandise can also be found. Marcella will be adding new musical content to the website every Friday!
One date to put in your diaries is Monday June 21st – not only is it Marcella’s birthday, but she will also be dropping some brand new music on her website! We can’t wait to hear it – make sure you’re following Marcella on her social media channels for all the latest updates!
