The Queen of Cool Jody Watley just released a new EP called Winter Nights with producer/remixer Alex Di Ciò and it perfect for a cozy evening. The men of SRL are also along for the ride.
The album starts off with an instrumental piano-led track called "Winter Nights (Prelude)". It sets the chill mood for the EP. It was written by Claude Lombard. Produced by Venuz.

"Weigh On Me" (Alex Di Ciò Remix) featuring Nate Allen Smith and SRL gets the chill groove started. Nate takes the lead on this soulful jam. He is also the writer of the song. Nate and Jody produced it. Alex remixed it. It is a really is quite good.
"Skin Deep" (Alex Di Ciò Extended Remix) is the third track. This song was originally on Jody's 2001 album Midnight Lounge. It's nice to hear it here again, as it is a lovely song with a beautiful melody. It was written and produced by Jody Watley and Rodney Lee. Alex Di Ciò gives this a fresh new remix.
Back in 2009, Jody has a stand-alone soulful single called "Candlelight." It appears as the next track on the Winter Nights EP and fits in just perfectly with a new extended remix by Alex Di Ciò. The song was written and produced by Jody Watley and Aris Koukouselis.
The EP closes with a 26-second reprise of "Winter Nights." Listen to the EP here ...
