Great news! Pop-legend Belinda Carlisle has a new album coming out in August called Once Upon A Time In California. Today, her first single from the album was released and it it is called "The Air That I Breathe." The song was originally recorded by co-writer Albert Hammond in 1972. It was covered by Phil Everly in 1973. However, it was the group The Hollies who had a hit with it in 1974. It has been covered many times over the years by Olivia Newton-John, k.d. lang, Simply Red, many others, and now Belinda.
"The Air That I Breathe" was written by Albert Hammond and Michael Hazlewood. It was produced by Gabe Lopez. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...
