Lovers And Strangers & All To You by A Flock Of Seagulls

Dear Poptastic Readers,

We were in the mood for A Flock Of Seagulls, so we went Spotify and saw that we missed 2 recent single releases from them! D'oh! Better late than never! "Lovers and Strangers" was released in mid-April. "All To You" was released at the end of May. Both songs are from the band's recent album Some Dreams. We already featured the first 2 singles "Some Dreams" and "Him." We have now subscribed to their YouTube channel so hopefully we won't miss any more future releases.

"Lovers and Strangers" is a tears-on-the-dancefloor song. The lyrics are "we used to be lovers now you walk on by." The music has the classic synth and guitar pop sound, while sounding very modern. This is a great example of an 80s band making modern music that doesn't sound stuck in the 80s, but it still sounds like them. "All To You" is a steady pop love song with a beautiful melody. This is about being head-over-heels in love. The music is lush and this sounds great.
