Bonus: #21 of 2020

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Today is the day we feature the song that just missed our Top 20. We always find it difficult to narrow down the songs to the Top 20. The pandemic made 2020 a tough year, and it was the music that helped us through it. There were so many songs that we loved just didn't fit in the Top 20. We've always highlighted the #21 spot. But this year, it is perhaps a bit more special.

Why: While we loved Annie’s dreamy pop singles this year, this one just captured our hearts. It is an ode to Annie’s late boyfriend Tore, who died in the 90s. The song tells the story of their love through the tale of Annie and Johnny. For a song that is very dreamy, we always find it quite emotional. If you have lost someone special, this song is for you. Well done, Annie.
