Dear Poptastic Readers,
#15 in our Top Songs of 2013 is “Love (Is All We Need)” by Adam J featuring
Nightcrashers and Amelle Berrabah. You can click on the song title to see what Poptastic Confessions had to say about it previously.
“Love (Is
All We Need)” at it’s core is very simple love song. And Amelle even performed
an acoustic version of it. However, the single version is aimed at the
dancefloor with DJ Adam J and Nightcrashers at the helm.
Amelle was set to release her debut single and album at the end of 2013. But this song didn’t set the charts on fire and things were pushed back until 2014.

Hopefully her solo material will happen in the beginning of the year. Amelle is from the Sugababes, who are either on hiatus or broken up. Jade said they broke up in 2011 after "Freedom" didn't do very well. Amelle and Heidi say they are just on a long break and they hope to get back together. Who knows?

We look forward to hearing more of Amelle’s solo efforts … and we hope there is more music from the Sugababes with any lineup.
<<EDIT: I just heard that MKS is fighting for the name Sugababes,
since it currently isn't being used. Stay tuned.>>
Cheers then,
—The Poptastic Confessions Collective
