Happy New Year! We always dedicate the first post of the year to looking back on the Top 20 countdown.
For two years in a row, Kylie Minogue had the most songs on our countdown with three entries: "The Other Boys" at #6, "Black And White" at #13, and "Right Here, Right Now" at #19. Parralox and Little Boots all had two songs each on the countdown.
New to the Top 20 countdown this year was Little Boots, NERVO, Nile Rodgers, Janelle Monáe, Dolly Style, La Bagatelle Magique, Garibay, Shaggy, Shalamar, Giorgio Moroder.
Technically, it was also the first appearance from Ani Glass and R.A.B.B.I.I. However, both have been in the countdown as parts of other acts.
Which page had the most views? That honor goes to Shalamar at #18 with "SlowDance." Jody Watley has been a big supporter of Poptastic Confessions over the years, so when she shares our posts with her fanbase, the viewers start pouring in!
The artist with the next most views went to Parralox! Their song "Wildlife" at #3 was the second-most viewed page, and their song "Aeronaut" at #9 was third.
Indie-darling Ani Glass had the fourth most-viewed page with her song "Little Things" at #4.
