#16 of 2018

Dear Poptastic Readers,

#16 in our Top 100 Songs of 2018 is: "Dance You Off" by Benjamin Ingrosso. Click on the song title to see what we first said about it.

Why: Well, for starters "Dance You Off" won Sweden's Melodifestivalen to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. Although it did well with the judges and points in Eurovision, sadly the song came in 20th place. Boo! We think it is a fabulous song. Benjamin also co-wrote it.

Watch: There are 2 videos for "Dance You Off." When we first featured the song back in March, we featured the first video. So here is the second video that premiered in May ...

Buy: "Dance You Off" is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today!

Listen: 2018 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify. Benjamin also had 2 other songs on our list this year: "Paradise" with Ofenbach came in at #25 and "I Wouldn't Know" came in at #71. Don't forget, last year he had our #8 song of 2017 with "Do You Think About Me."

Cheers then,
—The Poptastic Confessions Collective

In 2018, we had a record number of posts, as well as a record number of visitors. Thank you! Compiling the list of songs wasn't easy for us. Most of the contributors also had different favourites. We have done our best to calculate the votes by contributors, plus how many visitors clicked on each post, and then bonus points were awarded if the artists acknowledged Poptastic Confessions for promoting their music, and in return promoted Poptastic Confessions. At the end of the day, Davearama and those closest to him helped narrow down the songs into this list. A special thanks to Raoni, Sausi, Nick, Normski, Jason, Janice, and Arturo.

No matter what position the song lands in, they are all worthy. Our main goal at Poptastic Confessions is to bring you music that you might not have heard before. We hope you have enjoyed the songs, and that you will help support the artists by legally buying their music.
