Growing Pains by Clara Mae

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Swedish artist Clara Mae is back with a new song called "Growing Pains." You might remember that last year, Clara released a solo song called "The Player." She also was a songwriter and uncredited vocalist for the song "Emotions" by Discrete, which was #7 in our Top Songs of 2024.

"Growing Pains" starts off acapella and then turns into an acoustic jam and then going quiet again for the end. The lyrics are about family dynamics and how it affects you growing up, as well as your adult life. Clara said on her Instagram page: "This is probably the most personal song I have ever released. It’s very different from what you’ve heard from me before. I really felt like this was something I needed to write." The melody is quite nice, and Clara sounds amazing.
