It has been a while since we have had new music from Shura, but she has just released a new song called "Recognise." It is the first single from her forthcoming album in May called I Got Too Sad For My Friends. Shura was also a co-writer of the song "Freedom Of The Night" by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, which was #2 in our Top Songs of 2024.
"Recognise" is a down-tempo dreamy song that sounds a bit sad and hopeful at the same time. The beat does pick up from the beginning, and Shura's vocals are quite lovely. We've added the official visualizer to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...
"Recognise" was written by Aleksandra Lilah Denton (aka Shura) and Paul Hammer. It was produced by Luke Smith and Shura. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...
