Dear Poptastic Readers,
We hope you enjoyed our
7-year anniversary post yesterday. Now on to new music! Over the weekend, Gary
sent Sausi this amazing song called “Downtown Shutdown” by The Presets. We are
LOVING it!
The Presets are an
Australian duo made up of Kim Moyes and Julian Hamilton. They formed
The Presets in Sydney in 2003. Their latest single “Downtown Shutdown” is the
third release from their new album Hi Viz.
“Downtown Shutdown” was inspired by the occupy
movement and the way people can be powerful when they come together with a
singular purpose. The St Paul’s Lutheran Church Choir from Shepparton in
Victoria has many members that are refugees of South Sudan and the Congo. Bass
player “Touch Sensitive” is an established D.J and recording artist of dance
music. Check out the uplifting video …
Amazing right? “Downtown Shutdown” is available
on digital outlets everywhere, as is The Presets new album Hi Viz. Buy your copy today. We’ve added “Downtown Shutdown” to our
2018 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify. Enjoy!~
Love, Truth & Honesty,
—Sausi & Gary
