Kylie Minogue just released her 5th single this year. It is called "Lights Camera Action" and it is from her new album called Tension II, which is the sequel to her 2023 album Tension.
We really wanted more singles from Tension this year, as it had a lot of great songs. That album had 4 singles: "10 Out Of 10", "Padam Padam", "Tension", and "Hold On To Now." From Tension II, we have already had these 4 singles this year: "Dance Alone" with Sia, "Midnight Ride" with Orville Peck & Diplo, "My Oh My" with Bebe Rexha & Tove Lo, and "Edge Of Saturday Night" with The Blessed Madonna.
"Lights Camera Action" is an electro pop song that starts off a bit mindful and demure. The song takes off a bit half way through, becoming a very hot dance pop song all while remaining cool. The music video was directed by Sophie Muller, who has done most of her recent music videos and it is fab. Kylie looks absolutely fantastic in every scene.
