De Pesca En Ikea by Inga's Affairs

Gone Gone Gone by SoundFactory featuring Kristian Kaspersen

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Legendary dance artist/producer SoundFactory has released the fifth single from their new current album called Visions. The new song is called "Gone Gone Gone" and it features Kristian Kaspersen on vocals. The previous sings were "I'm Into You" "Wigs Lashes Heels Mascara""Cocktail", and "Filthy Dirty Rich."

"Gone Gone Gone" was initially released by Kristian Kaspersen in 2013. This new version starts off a bit somber, but it quickly heads to the dancefloor when the beats kick in. There is something so nice and smooth about Kristian's vocals that remind of us Morten Harket of a-ha. This has a really nice melody. We've added the audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

Saturday by Chris Tall (+ In The Sunshine)

Dear Poptastic Readers,

We saw on social media that Chris Tall (one half of Rikky Disco) has a new song out called "Saturday." While checking it out on Spotify, we also saw that he had a single out in the beginning of June called "In The Sunshine" and we missed it. D'oh! Better late than never!

"Saturday" is a very dark dance track aimed directly at the dancefloor. It is electrofunky. The woman's vocal is very commanding. "Ain't nobody got time for that" is our favorite like because the infamous meme. This has an edge, and we quite like it. We've added the official audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

And now for the previous single with Elias Bravo and Val in the First House of Neptune ...

"In The Sunshine" is a bit of different dance sound, as it has those strong house keys, and this has a very happy beat, and it feels very gospel with the amazing vocalist and backing choir. We've also added the official audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Saturday" was written and produced by Christian Jonson (aka Chris Tall). "In The Sunshine" was written by Christian Jonson, Elias Castaneda Bravo, and Valeria England. Demons In My Mind (Summer Versions) by Jupiter Pulse featuring David Adavi

Dear Poptastic Readers.

It's not very often that feature songs twice in Poptastic Confessions. However, it does sometimes happen. Earlier in the month, we featured the song "Demons In My Mind" by Jupiter Pulse featuring David Adavi. Now, an EP of 3 Summer Versions has been released. It contains Beach Summer Version, Euro Summer Version, and TLV Nights Summer Version.

The Beach Summer Version has a chill reggae kind of vibe to it. It is very relaxing and easy going. The Euro Summer Version is more pop with a mostly uptemo beat, as there are some tempo changes. It also has a lovely whistle and gorgeous synths. The TLV Nights Summer Version is still pop, but you could picture this playing at a cocktail lounge. We've added all 3 versions to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

Get Together by Belinda Carlisle

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Belinda Carlisle has released her second single of the year and it is called "Get Together." This follows "The Air That I Breathe" that was released in June. Both songs are from her forthcoming album due later this month called Once Upon A Time In California

"Get Together" is a classic song written and originally recorded by Chet Powers in 1963, but it was initially released by The Youngbloods in 1967. It has been remade many times over the years by various artists, so the chorus will probably be familar. The lyrics are especially timely: “Come on people now, smile on each other. Everybody, get together. Try to love one another, right now.” Belinda does a nice job with this cover. The music video is out on Friday, and we will add to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist, but until then, we've added the official audio ...

"Get Together" was written by Chet Powers. It was produced by Gabe Lopez. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...

Sugar by SG Lewis featuring Shygirl

Dear Poptastic Readers,

English artist SG Lewis has a new song out with Shygirl called "Sugar." This is SG's second single of the year as we featured "Back Of My Mind" in May. We weren't familiar with Shygirl, but we found out that she is an English artist whose real name is Blane Muise.

"Sugar" is perfect summer song to enjoy by the pool, or dancing at a party. The music is a bit trance-pop with a hint of electronic chill. Having said that, it is a dance song, but there is a chill vibe about it. Perhaps it is Shygirl's warm and inviting vocals. The music video shows the duo traveling to Ibiza and macking about by the pool, a boat, having drinks, and ending at a concert. We've added it to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Sugar" was written by Blane Muise, Orlando Higginbottom, and SG Lewis. It was produced by SG Lewis and TEED. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...

Boys Will Be Boys by Nea

Dear Poptastic Readers,

New artist alert (for us). We just heard a new song called "Boys Will Be Boys" by Nea, which was featured in Scandipop. We'd not heard of her before. However, it looks like she has been releasing music since 2019. She is Swedish, and we love Swedish pop!

"Boys Will Be Boys" is a lovely mid-tempo pop song with a catchy melody. The lyrics are about getting over someone and traveling the world only to find out that "boys are all the same." Nea gives a sweet vocal performance that just makes it that much more endearing. The music video is quite adorable. We've added it to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Boys Will Be Boys" was written by Bryn Christopher, Linnéa Södahl, and Vincent Kottkamp, who produced the song. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...

Breathless and Dreams by Honey

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Swedish duo Honey have released a new song it is a remake of the "Breathless" originally performed by The Corrs in 2000. As we went to Spotify to check it out, we saw that Honey had released a song called "Dreams" in early June. We will cover both here today ...

We'll go with the latest release first. "Breathless" is a classic song with a gorgeous melody. Honey makes it sound as if ABBA was singing in a chill synthpop style. This is quite pleasant. We've added the lyric music video to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

And now the next song ...

"Dreams" starts off sounding like a space-age ballad, but then the beat kicks and it takes a lovely turn. There are still tempo changes throughout. Their vocals and harmonies are quite lovely. Sadly, there is no video, but we've added the official audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Breathless" was written by Andrea Corr, Caroline Corr, Jim Corr, Sharon Corr, and Robert John "Mutt" Lang. "Dreams" was written by Hannes Hasselberg, Magda Skyllbäck, and Miranda Öhman.
