Baby Blue by SG Lewis featuring Oliver Sim

Dear Poptastic Readers,

English artist SG Lewis has released his new album Anemoia and the latest single is called "Baby Blue" featuring Oliver Sim, who is also an English musician. This follows SG's previous singles from the album: "Back Of My Mind", "Sugar" featuring Shygirl, and "Feelings Gone" featuring London Grammar.

"Baby Blue" is a house-pop song that sounds a bit distant at first, and then around 40 seconds the bass kicks in. This is quite dreamy and delightful. Oliver's smooth vocals really shine. We've added the audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

Acwariwm by Ani Glass

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Welsh artist Ani Glass has relased her second single this year and it is called "Acwariwm", which is Welsh for Aquarium. You might remember that we featured her previous single called "Phantasmagoria" in July.

"Acwariwm" is an upbeat slice of a dream pop with rich vocal layers. Ani's angelic voice is quite lovely and even though we don't speak Welsh, we can't help but love it. The music video feels like a sequel to Ani's music video for "Phantasmagoria." There are common themes like the color blue, water, books, and the other actress who played Ani 2 in the previous video is here again, mimicking Ani's moves as well as a sign language dance routine. We've added the music video to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Acwariwm" was written by Ani Glass. It was produced by Ani and Iwan Morgan. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...

Brand New Me by Saint Etienne x Confidence Man

Dear Poptastic Readers,

We just heard this fun song today and we immediately loved it. The song is "Brand New Me" by Saint Etienne x Confidence Man. We've heard of the English group Saint Etienne before, but we aren't familiar with their songs. We had never heard of the Australian group Confidence Man before. We have some exploring to do.

"Brand New Me" is a happy, feel-good song with lots of horny horns. The vocals are shared by both female singers from each group. There are even some fun talking bits. The lyrics are about self empowerment. The music video is retro-inspired cartoon where both groups are competing on stage and driving cars. So fun! Check out the video in our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...

"Brand New Me" was written by Grace Stephenson, Lewis Stephenson, and Sarah Cracknell. It was produced by Saint Etienne, Lewis Stephenson, and Tim Powell. It is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today! Listen to it on our 2025 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on Spotify ...

Umm Bop by Crystal Waters x ManyFew

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Crystal Waters and ManyFew have released their third single of the year, and the new song is called "Umm Bop." This follows their previous two singles: "You & Me" and "Big Bite."

"Umm Bop" is a delightful dance pop song with a chorus that is a bit of an earworm. Crystal powerfully commands the melody of the verses with ease. The music is a bit reserve for a dance pop song and we are digging it. We've added the audio to our 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist.
