Barbarella by Betty Boo

Dear Poptastic Readers,

Happy New Year! In December, and during our countdown, Betty Boo released the third single from her album Rip Up The Rulebook and it is called "Barbarella." Her latest album was one of our favourite albums of 2023. Check out the previous singles "It Was Beautiful" (#23 in our Top Songs of 2024) and "One Day" (#41 in our Top Songs of 2024). 

"Barbarella" was already a standout track as it opens her new album. The single version has been reworked, and it sounds a bit more epic, especially the intro. We are mesmerized by this very cool mid-tempo groovy track with its sci-fi–themed lyrics mixed with English and French. We love it! We've added the official lyric video to our brand-new 2025 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist.
