At the end of November, Swedish artist Sarah von Reis released a single called "Nest." We couldn't get to it in time for our year-end countdown. Sarah had 4 songs on our countdown last year with the highest being "Blame It On." It was #21 in our Top Songs of 2024.
"Nest" is a dreamy slow song that is so epic that it sounds like it could be from a movie soundtrack as it feels very cinematic. The guitar is quite lovely, and we imagined ourselves lying in the grass watching the clouds, but then there is a big crescendo and the guitar wakes you up from your dreamy state. Sarah's vocals are lush, and this is really quite nice. We've added the official audio to our 2024 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist.
