English artist Shura is out with a new song called "Richardson" and it features Cassandra Jenkins. It is the second single from her forthcoming album in May called I Got Too Sad For My Friends. The first single was the somber "Recognize." We weren't familiar with Cassanda Jenkins, so we found out she is a singer/songwriter from New York, and her music is described as folk and ambient rock. We are guessing that she might be singing backup.
On the surface, "Richardson" is an easy-going pop song. Once you hear the lyrics, you realize it is about depression. However sad the lyrics may be, we find there is something hopeful about about this song. Perhaps it is the beautiful melody.
