While we were featuring Finnish artist Retropenu 2 weeks ago, we thought about Finnish duo Big Boy Therapy, and noticed that they had a release called "Don't Stop" in February that we missed! D'oh! We meant to feature it last week, but then life happened. Now they have released another new song today called "Bananadrama."
Let's start with "Bananadrama." Even though the artwork features a pear instead of a banana. This song is very frantic with jungle elements. There isn't a vocal melody per se, but more of a spoken word. It definitely is interesting, especially the unexpected synth part near the end, which is quite nice. "Don't Stop" sounds rather industrial pop mixed with a splash of house dance music. Both guys in the group are on the vocals. The music video features a leather guy having a fun time in is car in the winter. We've added the video to our 2026 Poptastic Confessions YouTube Playlist ...
