I know we've been away for awhile, but sometimes, we need a break. We are back and up first is a new remix single from Bananarama with 2 remixes of their 1985 single "Do Not Disturb" as well as new mix of their 2022 single "Masquerade." The digital release also includes The Reflex Revision of "Robert De Niro's Waiting", which was released in early December.
The new mixes of "Do Not Disturb" are called the Krystal Klear New Wave Mix as well as an edit. It really isn't all that New Wave sounding, some long synth chords, but the updated rhythm section is what you hear the most. There is a fun lyric video for it. The Castle Elvira Mix of "Masquerade" is an extended version of the original. It is very epic sounding. Listen here ...
"Do Not Disturb" was written and produced by Steve Jolley and Tony Swain. Remix by Krystal Klear. "Masquerade" was written by Sara Dallin, Keren Woodward, and Ian Masterson.
