La Roux is back with their second single this year and it is called "Babyline." This follows their single "Cabin Fever", which was released in May. Both songs are from the upcoming album Cabin Fever, which is due on November 6.
"Babyline" is a delightful, fun bop. The music sounds like a party at the beach. Singer Elly sounds great. The chorus does blend in with the verses, but the lush synth layers will make you want to play it again once it is over. There is also a fade at the end, which is rare these days.
