Sister duo Appleton are back with a new song called "Ready To Begin." This follows their previous single "Falling Into You", which was released in January. Both songs are from their forthcoming EP titled Side By Side, which is due in September.
"Ready To Begin" is a mid-tempo pop rock song. The first verse has edgy build that leads up to a glorious chorus. The lyrics are about reconnecting with someone and giving the relationship another try. The chorus that we love so much has some amazing strings. We quite like this! Appleton also made headlines over the weekend when they played the Mighty Hoopla music festival in the UK and started playing "Round Round" by Sugababes. To the crowd's surprise, they were joined on stage by ex-Sugababe Heidi Range! Heidi then remained on stage to sing "Pure Shores" with them, which was a UK #1 in 2000 with their former group All Saints. See their performance here ...
