#19 of 2023

Dear Poptastic Readers,

If you are just joining us, we have been counting down our Top 101 Songs of 2023 with a new song every day. Tomorrow we feature the next song in the countdown.

#19 in Poptastic Confessions Top 101 Songs of 2023 is: “When The Rain Comes” by Sugababes. Click on the title of the song to see what we said about it earlier this year.

Written by: George Moore, Ian James, Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena, & Siobhan Donaghy

Produced by: George Moore

Why: “When The Rain Comes” was a grower for us. Of course we knew right away that it was an amazing vocal performance by the trio. It wasn't long before we couldn't stop singing along. It did grow on us quite a bit.

Watch: They had lyric video visualizer for the song. See it on our 2023 Poptastic Confessions Playlist on YouTube.

Live performance: They performed the song live on the BBC Graham Norton show. Watch that live performance here ...

Chart history: Sugababes definitely have a complicated history, and when Poptastic Confessions started, the Sugababes were a completely different lineup. Both lineups have been on our countdown over the years ...

"Flowers" with DJ Spoony was #7 in 2019

"Flatline" was #11 in 2013

"Freedom" was #7 in 2011

"Wear My Kiss" was #12 in 2010

Buy: “When The Rain Comes” is available on digital outlets everywhere. Buy your copy today!
