Every year we do a recap of our countdown to share some interesting (and not so interesting) tidbits about the Top 21 portion of the countdown. In case you missed it, here are our chart toppers from 2018 ...

We had 3 artists who
appeared twice in the Top 21: Jody Watley with "Waiting In Vain" and "The Passion", Kylie Minogue with "Stop Me From Falling" and "Dancing", and Clara Mae with "Better Me Better You" and "I Forgot."
We had lots of newcomers to the Top 21 this year! They were Alyx Ander, Redondo, Maria Z, Gente de
Zona, Dada Life, Jake Miller, Samantha Fox, Marcella Detroit, Peter Wilson,
Sean Smith, Post Precious, Carda and Maddy Tab. Congratulations!
Four of the artists this year have been at our #1 spot before, and The Queen of Cool has been there twice: Kylie Minogue in 2010 with "Get Outta My Way", Jody Watley in 2013 with "Nightlife", Jody Watley & SRL in 2016 with "The Mood", and Parralox in 2017 with "Electric Nights."
Francine Belle has been on our countdown twice before: In 2012 with "Love Stuck" at #9 and in 2014 with "Crying On The Dancefloor" at #2.
Dolly Style have been on our Top 21 countdowns 9 times over the past 2 years: Three times in 2015: "Cherry Gum" at #10, "Upsy Daisy" at #15, and "Hello Hi" at #21. Three times in 2016 with "Rollercoaster" at #3, "Young And Restless" at #12, and "Unicorns & Ice Cream" at #17. Two times in 2017 with "Bye Bye Bby Boo" at #12 and "Moonlight" at #17. This year saw them back in the Top 10 with "L-O-V-E", but they also had 3 solo singles that landed outside of the Top 21 on our chart, too: "Hush Little Baby (VIP)" featuring Molly at #31, "Red Lights" featuring Holly at #32, and "B-A-B-Y" featuring Polly at #33.
Clara Mae has also been on our countdown over the past 2 years. In 2016 with "Strip" at #19 and "Parachute" at #45, and in 2017 with "Taped Up Heart" at #4, "I'm Not Her" at #19 and "Drowning" at #66. Clara also had another single this year called "Rooftop", which came in at #68.
Benjamin Ingrosso was in our Top 10 last year with "Do You Think About Me", which came in at #8 and his song "One More Time" came in at #40 last year. This year, he had 2 other songs on the countdown: "Paradise" and #25 and "I Wouldn't Know" came in at #71.
Sannie has been on our countdown 3 times before: Once in 2012 with "4ever" at #4, and in 2016 with "In The Morning" at #14 and "How Long" at #36.
Roosevelt was in the top ten in 2016 with "Fever" at #6. His song "Belong" came in at #39 in 2016. He had 2 other songs on our 2018 countdown: "Shadows" at #62 and "Getaway" at #91.
All Saints had 3 songs on our countdown in 2016 with "One Strike" at #8, "One Woman Man" at #15, and "This Is A War" at #61. This year, their song "Love Lasts Forever" came in at #35.
Alice D has been on our countdown 6 times before 2018: In 2014 with "Moving On" at #8, in 2015 with "Sweet Embrace" at #23 and "Baby" at #30, in 2016 with "Only You" at #11, in 2017 with "I Don't Owe You" at #42 and "Just Friends" at #85.
